I am Natalia Nyaradi, Hungarian perfumer and fragrance creator.
For me, fragrance is the most personal form of art—able to evoke emotions and tell stories all at once.
After several years of gaining international experience, I returned to Hungary in 2025 to establish myself as a creative perfumer. I believe that global knowledge must find its place in a local context, spoken in one’s own language, shaped by one’s own culture. Today, I work full-time as the in-house perfumer for Eau de Tihany while also pursuing independent fragrance projects.
There’s no set path, and I’m not looking for one. I believe lasting creations are born from those who dare to dive into the unknown. I strive to craft fragrances that resonate emotionally with their wearer. As a Hungarian perfumer, it is my personal mission to create at home and contribute to the revival of local perfume culture with knowledge, sensitivity, and a commitment to timeless values.

A journey shaped by experience and continuous learning, where renewal is essential both as a person and as a creator. I believe that anyone walking this path needs more than technical knowledge, they need an inner compass to guide them.
To me, fragrance creation is not improvisation but a mindset. I always begin with a clear concept - the inner “DNA” of the scent - and build the composition around it, focusing on the relationships between ingredients. A well-crafted perfume is like a well-written novel: no empty chapters, just a story that unfolds with purpose and clarity. This is where perfumery becomes true architectural work.
Working in an industrial setting taught me the value of discipline and precision. But as a creator, I am not driven by market expectations, my focus is on crafting the best possible fragrance, guided by honesty, conviction, and a deep sense of values. This mindset shapes everything I do.
Being a perfumer requires humility. Each project is a new world, and my role is to listen, ask questions, and adapt. Only through this approach can truly personal, high-quality fragrances be created, scents that are not only beautiful, but honest as well.

Echo of Tihany
The Echo of Tihany is my first fragrance introduced to the public, my artistic debut as a creator.
Created for the Eau de Tihany brand, the perfume is inspired by the timeless legend of the Tihany Echo. The composition is a modern fougère: crisp bergamot, juniper berries, and ginger unfold into precious narcissus absolute, settling into a warm base of amber, woods, and patchouli. On each person’s skin, it tells a different story, like a book that reveals something new with every reading.

Hotel Petit Bois
This fragrance composition was created for Hotel Petit Bois Füred, designed specifically to capture the unique atmosphere of the space.
The goal was to evoke the essence of Balaton summers: a delicate linden blossom accord forms the heart of the fragrance, surrounded by citrus freshness, aquatic notes, and the velvety depth of musk and amber. With its layered structure, the scent conjures the elegance, serenity, and freedom of lakeside living, distilling the refined spirit of Balatonfüred into a single olfactory experience.

Scents & Harmonies
As part of the “Spring Chords” event, I gave a talk on the relationship between music and scent, exploring how fragrances affect us, how they evoke memories and emotions, and the deep parallels between the processes of composing music and creating perfume. The evening brought together live piano performance and olfactory experiences in a sensory and symbolic space. The goal was not only for the audience to hear or smell, but to understand: a scent can be an accord, and fragrance, too, can tell a story.
